***ELP – Today is BLACK Day***

There is to be NO STUDENTS using the connecting link or in the Elementary School during home game nights or any other after hour activities.  We have had issues with numerous kids using the connecting link, running through the elementary school, and accessing the playground by using those hallways.  Students need to stay out of the Elementary School on game nights unless accompanied by an adult staff member!

STUDENTS-When the bell rings at 4:00 students need to leave campus/buildings ASAP if you are not involved in extracurricular activities or staying after for zapped or to meet with a teacher.  We are having issues with kids wanting to "hang out" in the school building, in the parking lot, or on campus after hours.  If you have no reason to be here please exit the campus as soon as the bell rings.  Students should not be in the halls, gyms, or wieghtroom without permission and supervision to do so.

6-8th Graders interested in competing in the Math Contest at West Elk on October 25th, please see Mr. Swanson about signing up, and to get practice tests to work on

After meeting with the Principal's Leadership Team last week and careful consideration from staff the following criteria has been determined for students to be able to attend the incentive trip in the Spring.

*Three (3) or fewer unexcused absences for the school year

*Seven (7) or fewer excused or unexcused absences for the school year

*Three (3) or fewer unexcused tardies

*Three (3) or fewer ZAPPED Referrals

*Two or Fewer Discipline Referrals

*NO MAJOR DISCIPLINE ISSUES....Drinking/Smoking/Vaping/Bullying/Fighting/etc....

*Must be a student in good standing and passing all your classes for the year at the time of the trip.

Ms. Stone and Ms. Walker will be tracking the students' information listed above throughout the year.  (Absences, Tardies, etc..)

*There will be a $75 "seat charge" for the trip.  This allows us to get an accurate count and make reservations for things while holding students accountable to attend if they have verbally committed to attend.  Students will be allowed to make payments on this throughout the school year starting today.  To make payment arrangements visit with Donna and/or Lacey in the Central Office.  This year's dates, destination, and itinerary will be in place before the end of September.  The incentive trip is open to 9th through 12th Grade students.

The Roost will be taking over the morning Ala Carte and items will be served before school through 10:00 AM.  A breakfast sandwich (sausage/egg/cheese or bacon/egg/cheese) and Tornadoes will be served daily, along with ONE special of the day...example Cinnamon Roll, Muffins, Donuts, etc....
